While I've outlined some of my main concerns in my platform, there are also a few other projects I want to work on as a CCSC Student Services Representative.

1. Dining hall overcrowding is a big issue at Columbia, especially at Ferris Booth Commons. I've felt for awhile that we need to make data about how many students are in the dining halls at any given time available to the student body. This would allow students to make informed decisions about where to eat their meals. I've discussed this idea with the current CCSC Student Services Representatives over the last semester, and I'm pleased to report that they've been very receptive. If elected, I'll definitely continue to pursue this project.

2. I'll also work with administrators to discuss the possibility of opening Dodge Gym earlier on weekends. Every other Ivy League gym opens before 9:30 am on Saturday mornings, but Dodge doesn't open until 10:00 am. It's important to acknowledge the importance of physical exercise for alleviating stress, and I think creating a more active campus could potentially help with our mental health problem.

3. Students have complained about poor Wifi connection in Kent Hall. I'll meet with staff from the CUIT department and work to address this issue. Slow internet access should never be a problem at an institution like Columbia.
I'm looking forward to hearing my fellow students' concerns over the next week of campaigning, and I promise that I'll always be open to new ideas as a Representative in CCSC.
